Frances Cajas Crites

Frances Cajas Crites of Hanover, MD, passed away on Tuesday, February 09, 2016 at her residence. Frances was born on January 2, 1946 in Rowena, TX and was the daughter of the late Jose and Eloisa Cajas of San Angelo, Texas.
Frances graduated from the first nursing class at Angelo State University in 1969. She spent her 40 year career as a nurse in Texas, Maryland, California and Japan. During her career she served as an officer for the Professional Staff Nurses Association. After Frances retired she served as the Nurse Representative for Service Employees International Union (SEIU) 1199.
In addition to her parents Frances was predeceased by two sisters and three brothers.
Frances is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Gregory P. Crites of Hanover, MD; one son, Kenneth Crites and his wife Jennifer of Amsterdam, The Netherlands ; one daughter, Jennifer Crites of Maryland, MD; two sisters, Olga Colorado and Dorothy Calvery of San Angelo, TX; two brothers, Israel Cajas and Ronnie Cajas of San Angelo, TX; six grandchildren, William Conner-Crites, Kenneth Conner-Crites, Tiana Crites, MacKenna Crites, Hayden Crites and Tanner Crites.
