Florence Ruth Humbert of Ellicott City, MD, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at Brighton Gardens in Columbia, MD, at the age of 88. Florence was born on May 2, 1923 in Baltimore, MD to the late Robert Edward Lee Hancock and Edith Marie (Stehl) Hancock.
Florence is survived by her two children, Reverend Kenneth M. Humbert of Odenton, MD and Joyce Bishop of Laurel, MD; four grandchildren, Micah Humbert, Meghan Humbert, Randolph Bishop and Keri Bosch; six great grandchildren and her brother, John Hancock of Ocean Pines, MD. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Edward M. Humbert.
