Fernando Lopez Gatdula

Fernando Lopez Gatdula of Odenton, MD, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2011 at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C., at the age of 77. Fernando was born on April 30, 1933 in Cavite, Philippines to the late Salvador Gatdula and Avalina Lopez.

Fernando spent 10 years in the United States Navy. Upon leaving the Navy he joined the Government Printing Office in Washington D.C. as a Bookbinder.

Fernando is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Nancy. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and several sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1411 Annapolis Road, Odenton, MD 21113 on Monday, March 21, 2011 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. An interment service will be held at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville, MD.
