Eleanor Elizabeth (Burke) Downs

On February 1, 2015, Eleanor Elizabeth Downs of Odenton, previously of Scaggsville, passed away surrounded by her loving family at the age of 89. Beloved wife of 64 years to the late James L. Downs; Devoted mother of James Downs of Chester, VA, Lynda Nicholls of Isle of Wight, UK, Richard Downs of Charlottesville, VA, and Deborah Downs of Gambrills, MD; Cherished grandmother of Tara Pacheco, Meghan Daniel, Katherine Downs, Jamie Nicholls, Tegan Nicholls and Morgan Downs and great-grandmother of Logan Daniel. A homemaker, Eleanor loved being with her family. She also enjoyed traveling, watching scary movies and spending time at the beach. She will be remembered as the youthful and vibrant lady she was.
