Drupad Batuklal Desai of Highland, MD, passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at Howard County General Hospital in Columbia, MD. Dru is survived by his wife, Tarini Drupad Desai; son, Apurva Desai and daughter-in-law, Urvi Desai, both of Vienna, VA; son, Parag Desai of Washington, DC; grandson, Rithik Desai and his three brothers, Harshad, Dushyant and Janak Desai. A celebration of Dru's life will be held at Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A., 1411 Annapolis Road, Odenton, MD 21113 on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. In following with Hindu tradition cremation will follow services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
