Dorothy P. Reid

Dorothy P. Reid, a resident of Odenton, MD, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 96.  “Aunt Lue (GG) was born on March 12, 1926 in Jamaica and was the daughter of the late Benjamin Reid and Martha Ximies.

Grandma was the rock that kept our family together. Through the good times and the bad times, she was the first person you called when something was wrong. Grandma loved life and her family. She gave freely not looking for anything in return. She was kind, caring and full of jokes to make you laugh. Because of her we are better together as a family.

Aunt Lue (GG) is survived by her beloved daughter, Lorna M. Robinson; 8 loving grandchildren, Avanel, Donavon, Grace, Michael, Areon, Mark, Camille and Troy; 8 cherished great grandchildren, Justin, Collin, Christian, Bryce, Declan, Reagan, Janelle and Kenny; she is preceded in death by her daughter, Norma T. Rennalls.

A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at 12:00 pm at the Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. Interment will be private.
