Dongsuk "Don" Shin

December 10, 1968 — March 21, 2014

Don Shin was a beloved brother and uncle. He is survived by his sisters and their spouses Sandy Shin and Jay Herman of Crofton, Maryland, and Susan Shin and Jason Gunnink of Arlington, Virginia.
He was also the beloved uncle to his two young nephews Jack Gunnink (8 years old) and Max Gunnink (2 1/2 years old).

Don grew up in Crofton, Maryland and attended the University of Maryland in College Park. He earned his bachelor's degree in psychology and worked as a consultant in the IT industry.

Don cherished the friendships he made from a young age in elementary school and throughout his adult life. He was a very giving and trusted friend to many. He loved and cherished his friends as family. He was a dedicated and committed brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend who would go to any length to help the important people in his life.

His passions were spending time with his friends and family. Don enjoyed watching sports but everyone knew he was a loyal Ravens fan.

Don passed away at the young age of 45. His love, dedication and smile will always be missed.
