Donald David Smith

Donald David Smith of Fredericksburg, VA, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2013. Donald was born on August 9, 1972 in Maryland and was the son of Dale and Diane Smith.
Donald grew up in Severn, Maryland and moved to Virginia 13 years ago. He graduated from Old Mill Senior High in 1990. Donald worked as a manager for Midas in Fredericksburg, VA. He was also an avid dirt track racer carrying the 1$, racing at Potomac, Winchester, Hagerstown, VMS, Clary's and County Line speedways.
Donald is survived by his wife Jennifer Smith; five children, Donald David Charles Smith, Dayna Khrystyne Lynn Smith, Carley Diane Smith, Lucy Madison Smith and Cassandra Paige Smith; one step-son, Jacob Sindler; maternal grandmother, Madeline Rutherford; one brother, Dale Curtis Smith, Jr.; two sisters, Cassandra Dale Franson and Pamela Marie Sanner; one grandchild, Kallen Rayne Baker and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends Thursday, June 20, 2013 at Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1411 Annapolis Road Odenton, MD from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. A Interment service will be held on Friday, June 21, 2013 at Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens 2150 Mount View Road Marriottsville, MD at 10:45am.
