Dominique Antevia Delgado (Nique) was born to Danny Delgado and Margaret (Lodman) Delgado on September 11, 1985, in Dallas, TX.  Our beautiful Dominique was taken from this world too soon and went to be with our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, October 14, 2015.

Dominique accepted Christ as her personal saviour at the age of 11 years old at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, Baltimore, Maryland.  She attended school in Millersville, Maryland.  Later she went to Delaware State University in Dover, Delaware majoring in Psychology.

She was employed as a Customer Service Representative at Capital One Bank in Laurel, and as an Assistant Manager at Loafers Restaurant. She had a creative flair for art, loved music, and was always surrounded by her friends and family. Dominique will be remembered for her love of style, her kind and generous spirit, and her way of spoiling those she loved. Although she was a Daddy’s girl, Dominique was known to frequently bring her Mommy flowers “just because.”  Dominique could walk into a room and capture it with her stunning smile!  Her smile is etched into our memories.  She loved creating special times and moments for her daughter Syriah and seemed always to be planning Syriah’s next vacation. She shared a special bond with her sister Rikki, and they complimented each other very well.

She leaves to mourn her passing her loving daughter, Syriah Delgado-O’Neil; her parents, Danny and Margaret Delgado;  one sister, Rikki Delgado; maternal grandmother, Rosetta Lodman; Godfather, Nathaniel Coxen, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins from Maryland, New York, California, Florida, Texas, Arizona and Mississippi. Dominique is preceded in death by her grandfather, Roy Lodman; and paternal grandparents, Felix and Delfina Delgado.
