In Loving Memory of Dharam Vir Suri

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dharam Vir Suri. He was born on January 6th, 1941 and left this world on February 29th, 2024.

Dharam was affectionately known as DV by friends and family. DV was a loving father, devoted husband, proud grandpa and a cherished friend to many. His kindness and gentle spirit touched the lives of all who knew him.

Born in India, DV led a life driven by a desire to provide for his family.  DV immigrated to the US in 1974 with minimal belongings and through hard work, enabled his family to thrive on the back of his drive and work ethic. Personally, DV enjoyed partaking in golf, following professional sports and listening to news about the stock market.

He is survived by his son, Rajiv, daughter, Aikta, two grandchildren Ishan and Anaiya and siblings Arvind, Kamlesh and Chander.  Collectively, they will continue to carry his legacy forward.

A memorial service to celebrate DV’s life will be held on March 6th, 2024 at Donaldson Funeral Home in Odenton, MD. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Lewy Body Dementia Association.

May his soul rest in peace, and may we find solace in the memories of the wonderful moments shared with DV.
