Dale William Clark

On Friday, August 26, 2022, Dale William Clark, 84, of Gambrills, passed away peacefully at home.  He was predeceased by his wife of 56 years, Wanda Clark.  Beloved father of T. Dale Clark (wife Carole), Tammy Pietsch (husband Al), and his late son Terry Clark (wife Janet); Loving brother of Frances Seagle; Cherished grandfather of 7 and great-grandfather of 9.  Dale was predeceased by 4 siblings.

Born in Pineola, NC, on December 28, 1937, Dale moved to Maryland in his early 20's and worked as a machinist for 30 years, initially for American Instrument Company and then Baxter Travenol.  After retiring at age 53, he and Wanda enjoyed perfecting their shuffleboard skills while being “snow birds”, spending the winter months in Ellenton, Florida.  In later years, his hobbies included trips to the casino, completing jigsaw puzzles and playing computer games.

A private, graveside service will be held on Friday, September 2nd at 11:00 AM at Fort Lincoln Cemetery in Brentwood, Maryland.  In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake https://www.hospicechesapeake.org/
