Constance A. (Adams) Rowan

On May 21, 2020, Constance “Connie” A. Rowan (nee Adams) passed away at the age of 81.  Born in Pennsylvania, Connie most recently lived in Severn.  She is survived by her beloved daughters Regina, Roxanne, and Rhonda; her loving step-children Tuck, Lee, Debbie, and Jimmy; her 11 cherished grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.  She was predeceased by her husband of 35 years, Earl Rowan.

Connie worked in food service for St. Margaret’s Hospital in Pittsburgh and volunteered for the Senior Center in California, Pennsylvania, where she also sang with the choir at the United Christian Church.  Connie enjoyed reading, writing poetry, camping with her husband, and spoiling their dog Daisy.

Services will be held at a later date and time.

Heaven Above

“Dear Lord” in heaven above

I ask for your advice?

I do want many things to happen,

I hope by deeds suffice.

I want to bow with the Angels,

When they sing their praises to You,

I want to be around “Dear Lord”

So I can be forever with You.

When I come unto “Your Heavenly Mansion”,

and arrive at those “Pearly Gates”,

Dear Lord, let St. Peter unlock them,

For I pray I am not too late.

So I’ll always look to Heaven,

and ask for your advice!

Because “Dear Lord” I am not perfect,

With what I’ve accomplished during my entire life.
