Connie L Myers

Connie Myers, 74, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a life defined by devotion to family, enduring love, and simple joys. Born on February 19, 1952, in Somerset, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late George and Trella Weible (née Hottle). At a young age, Connie moved to Maryland, where she would spend much of her life building cherished relationships and lasting memories.

Connie was married for 49 years to the love of her life, Vernon Myers Jr., who preceded her in death. Together, they shared a deep bond and a passion for travel, proudly visiting all 50 states side by side. Their marriage was a true partnership filled with companionship, laughter, and unwavering love.

Family was at the center of Connie’s world. She treasured time spent with loved ones and friends, finding joy in connection and conversation. In her later years, she embraced quieter pleasures, enjoying time watching YouTube and keeping in touch with those she loved.

In addition to her husband and parents, Connie was preceded in death by her sister, Bonnie Royea.

She is lovingly remembered by her uncle, John Ringler of Friedens, Pennsylvania; her aunt, Genevieve Nicklow Wolfe of Millersville, Maryland; her niece, Dana Brooks (Ty) of Severn, Maryland; and her great-nephews, Christopher Brooks (Emilie) of Glen Burnie, Darius Brooks (Lexi), Malik Brooks of Brooklyn, Jahleel Brooks (Isiss) of San Antonio, Texas, and Kaeyden Brooks of Millersville, Maryland. She is also survived by her great-great-nephews and nieces, Darius Brooks Jr., Greyson Brooks, Rylee Brooks, and a baby Brooks expected in August 2026, along with many other loving family members and dear friends.

Connie’s warmth, kindness, and quiet strength will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She was laid to rest beside the love of her life on May 6th at Maryland Crownsville Veterans Cemetery.
