Celebrations of life for Clyde Wayne Thomas will first be held at 12:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at Blackwell Barn & Lodge, 329 Gambrills Road, Gambrills, MD 21054.

Kilpatrick Funeral Homes will be handling local services which will be held at 6:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 19, 2024, with visitation starting at 5:00 pm in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes West Monroe, 1321 North Seventh Street, West Monroe, LA 71291.

Clyde Wayne Thomas was born on October 25, 2023, at 8:56 pm at Anne Arundel Medical center in Annapolis Maryland and died March 10,2024, at 7:36 am at John Hopkins Hospital Baltimore, Maryland.

Clyde was the son of Jonathon and Madeleine Thomas of Odenton Maryland where they awaited Clyde’s birth with joyful expectation. During his brief life here on Earth, he loved listening to music, bath time, cuddling, walks, finger sucking, morning time routine and being held close by his parents. To all who would see and meet him was to instantly love him as he is the King of all hearts.

His maternal family, grandparents, Jason and Kim Wassan Aunt Amelia Wassan of West Monroe, Louisiana; great aunts, Jennifer and Daniel Bible Jennifer and Scott Gates of West Monroe, Louisiana, Jessica Higgins of New Orleans, Louisiana; great grandparents, Judy and Ricky Griggs, Gary and Jackie Perkins, Wayne and Dianne Wassan all of West Monroe; paternal family, great grandparents, Terry and Rgi Lasyone of Eros, Louisiana; Fathers Brother Steven and wife Kristina (Honey) Rothschild of Eros Louisiana, Sister Samantha Rothschild of West Monroe Louisiana; nieces, Gabby and Zackery Mejias children (Gabe, Atticus, Benjamin, Jonathon Sheppard) of West Monroe Louisiana, Carlye Jo Rothschild of Lincoln Nebraska and Madi Jo Rothschild of Eros Louisiana; Special extended family, Buffy and Mike Roberson of Sterlington Louisiana, Hannah and Tyler Farrar, Garrett and Bethany Roberson and Caleb Roberson.

Preceded in death by paternal grandmother, Debra Beth Thomas, grandfather, Howell Wayne Butler; great grandparents, Louis Rothschild, Dana and Gloria Bohnsack and Nelson Thomas

The impact and the legacy of Clyde’s life was a brief gift to us, but will live on as his heart valves were donated and will be received by those in need.
