Cindy Jeane Harrison

Cindy Jeane Harrison of Sterling, VA, formerly of Glen Burnie, MD, passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at the home of her sister in West Friendship, MD, at the age of 54.  Cindy was born on March 26, 1964 in Landstuhl, Germany to Diane Simons and Walter B. Harrison.

Cindy worked for the National Security Agency for over 37 years.  She loved animals; and throughout the years played tennis, softball, volleyball, and bingo. She was a thrill seeker who enjoyed whitewater rafting, roller coasters and bungee jumping.  In quieter moments she enjoyed sudoku.  Most of all, she loved being with family and friends.

Cindy is survived by her mother, Diane Simons and her step-father, David Simons; father, Walter B. Harrison; five sisters, Tammy Brafa and husband, Frank, Jenny Clark and husband, Brian, Valerie Sauter and husband, Don Sauter, Jr., Candice Thomas and husband, Benjamin, Leanna Safah and husband, Jamal; two aunts, Phyllis Blackwell and Barbara Gulen; uncle, Leon Blackwell; three nieces, Amanda Sauter, Sarah Clark and Aly Clark and two nephews, Christopher Sauter and Donald Sauter, III.

The family will receive friends at Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1411 Annapolis Road, Odenton, MD 21113 on Friday, November 9, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.  A Celebration of Life service will be held at 7:30 p.m.
