Christa Marie Walker

Christa Marie Walker, a resident of Odenton, MD, passed away on Monday, December 03, 2012 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center at the age of 85. Christa was born on October 5, 1927 in Germany, and was the daughter of the late William and Claira Kunze.

Christa enjoyed many hobbies. She loved to cook and nothing pleased her more than gathering her family and friends together for a delicious meal on Sundays. She was especially proud of her family, and looked forward to seeing her grandchildren daily. Her family was her whole world. She was a very loving and generous mother.

Christa is survived by her loving children, Yvonne Vickers, Michael Walker and his wife, Sandy, Christian Walker, Marlene Lembach and Ricky Walker all of Odenton, MD; fourteen devoted grandchildren, Michelle Harvey, Melissa Neal, Marcie Chapman, Richie Vickers, Kimberly Vickers, Marcia Althoff, Chrissy Colbert, Michelle Addision, Jessica and Laura Walker, Michael Brady, Lisa and Victoria Lembach, Savannah Stose; twenty eight beloved great grandchildren, Monica Gregg, Justice Harvey, Caressa, Ciara, and Cameron Neal, Marissa Griffin, RayRay Chapman, Kailee, Richie and Jordan Vickers, Joey, Michael, Martina and Charlie Althoff, Amaya Winters, Mecmec Demetrius Winters, Makayla, Taylor and Samatha Colbert, Annie May and Abbey Grace Addision, Brandon and Eliana Campbell, Isaiah Fisher, Michael Brady, III, Jalyn Brady, Christa Goodwin and Damien Pellan; three cherished great -great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Kyla and Arianna Gregg. Christa is preceded in death by her husband, Mike Walker, Jr.

The family will receive friends at Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1411 Annapolis Road, Odenton, MD 21113 on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Donaldson Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at 11:00am. Interment will be private.
