Chong Hye Nowlin

Mrs. Chong Hye Nowlin (nee Cho) a longtime resident of Laurel, MD, passed away on March 9, 2023 @ the Gilchrist Center Howard County (Columbia, MD).

She was 87, born on November 9, 1935 in Kunsan, South Korea; daughter of the late Nae Jin Cho & Bok Sun Kim.

Chong is survived by her beloved children Mei Hui Yeh (Judy) & Chun Hsi Yeh (James).  Surviving siblings among the eleven include Hyon U Cho, Duk Oong Cho, Hwa Ja Cho, Young Rae Cho, Chong Ye Kanada & Hyon Kil Cho.  Also, she is blessed with countless nieces, nephews & 'grandchildren' through them.

A devoted daughter of God; she is an Elder @ Korean Methodist Church of Love (Elkridge, MD).  Known for her giving & generous heart to her loving family & friends as well as fellow church members.

She, truly, loved being around people; sharing in fellowship & prayer.  An ardent gardener & cook; she enjoyed swimming in her heyday.

The family will receive friends & guests on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 @ Donaldson Funeral Home (Odenton, MD) from 6 - 7 PM for Viewing.  Funeral Service will follow @ 7 PM.  Interment will be @ Arlington National Cemetery @ a later date where she will be reunited with her beloved husband, Howard Woodrow Nowlin, Jr.
