Cheryl Nadine Dolan

It is with deep and painful sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear Cheryl Nadine Dolan. She passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 06, 2025. Cheryl was born May 13, 1960, in Cheverly, MD and was a resident of Odenton, MD.

Cheryl was the daughter of the late Bobby and Dale Wagner and Charles and Mary Gooding. She is survived by her beloved husband of 43 years, John Dolan; three loving children, Sean Dolan and his wife, Heather, Ashley Sperow and her husband, Thom and Ryan Dolan. As well as nine adorable grandchildren, Nevaeh, Devin, Camden, Gracie, Gabby, Aleena, Lilah, Eli and Leo. She is survived by her sisters, Lee-ann Wagner, Tammy Martucci, Christine Mulrooney and her brother, Freddie Gooding. She is preceded in death by her brother, John Wagner.

She was a devoted wife, mother and sister and created lifelong beautiful memories. She enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren play sports, being present for all of their parties, ballets and activities. Serving her loved ones was what she looked forward to the most. She would regularly go above and beyond for others; with her amazing cooking, caring, cleaning or doting, she regularly looked for opportunities to serve with generosity, love and authenticity.

Cheryl was a Christian and trusted in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She enjoyed listening to sermons to learn about God and while obeying scripture with her childlike faith, would faithfully pray for her family and friends.

She was a devoted employee to UPS as a supervisor for 30 years, retiring just this past June. She received several awards for her dedication and hard work. Cheryl had a passion for healthy living so she also worked for the Plexus health company as an independent sales associate where she advocated for adequate nutrition for all.

Cheryl loved the beach and had fond memories of her time in North Carolina with her friends and family. She had an adventurous spirit and was happiest when she was taking care of babies, puppies, or out to dinner and drinks with her family. Cheryl will be greatly missed, but is now at peace with her Savior.

A Memorial Gathering will take place at the Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. on Friday, September 19, 2025, from 5 pm to 6 pm with a Memorial Service starting at 6pm.
