Charles Elexie Rogers

Charles Elexie Rogers of Jessup, MD passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at his home, at the age of 51. Charles was born on July 20, 1960 in Pascagoula, MS and was the son of Ruby (Rishel) Rogers and the late Norman E. Rogers.

Charles was on the dean's list and graduated from Mississippi Gulf Coast Junior College in 1981. He worked as a maintenance engineer at T.C Williams High School in Alexandria, Virginia. Previous to that he worked as an electrician for more than 20 years. Most recently, Charles had his own company, Metro Electric Service, LLC where he also worked as an electrician. Charles, best known by "Charlie" from family and friends, loved riding motorcycles, going to car shows, and going to races.

Charles is survived by his loving mother, Ruby Elizabeth Rogers of Pascagoula, MS; three devoted brothers, Storm Rogers and wife, Faith of Sevena Park, MD, Bill Rogers and wife, Pat of Ormond Beach , Fl, and Franklin Rogers and wife, Marie of Jessup, MD; five cherished nieces, Tiffany, Alisa, Leigh Ayn, Angela and Meghan; one nephew, Seth. Charles is preceded in death by his brother, Morgan.

The family will receive friends at the Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1411 Annapolis Road, Odenton, MD 21113 on Friday, June 22, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Donaldson Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, June 23,2012 at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Epiphany Episcopal Church Cemetery, Odenton, MD.
