Charles Fredrick Miller, affectionately known as Charlie was born on February 25, 1939, in Beckley, West Virginia passed away on October 26, 2025, in Baltimore, Maryland.
Charles was a loving, caring, and compassionate man who cherished his family deeply. He was a wonderful big brother to all his siblings, a devoted pop-pop, and a loyal friend. Known for being a little hard-headed at times, Charles was also a great prankster—especially around Halloween, when his playful spirit truly shined.
A highly skilled technician and a true jack of all trades, Charles could fix almost anything. Tinkering with anything that had a motor was his idea of a good day. He found joy in turkey shoots, fishing, hunting, and generously sharing vegetables from his garden with friends and neighbors.
Charles was an all-around good guy whose warmth, humor, and talent will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his son, Fredrick Miller (and his wife, Michelle Cook-Miller); his grandchildren, Haley Miller, Dutch Miller, Samuel Miller, Michael Miller, Tiffany Vaught, and Garrett Cook; his sisters, Kate Twine, Louise Kostkowski (and her husband, Richard Kostkowski), Martha Platzke, Margaret Smith (and her husband, Frank Smith), Patti Giangreco (and her husband, Andy Giangreco), and Peggy Reif (and her husband, David Reif); his brothers, Steve Miller (and his wife, Diane Miller), Bob Miller, Joe Miller (and his wife, Linda Miller), and David Miller (and his wife, Judy Miller); and his sister-in-law, Gloria Miller.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Helen and Eli Miller; his sons, Alan Miller and Glenn Miller; his brother, John Miller; his loving partner of many years, Gloria Conrades; his sister-in-law, Renee Miller; and his brother-in-law, Ray Twine.
A funeral service will be held in his honor on October 31, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A., located at 1411 Annapolis Rd, Odenton, MD 21113.
