Charles Martin Harrelson

On April 7th, Charles Martin Harrelson passed away peacefully at the age of 81.  Born in Florida, Charles was known affectionately as “Marty” to fellow Floridians, and as “Chuck” to his Maryland friends.  He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy, serving as a Cryptologist, for 25 years. He then worked for NSA as a programmer for another 15 years before retiring again.  Chuck enjoyed polka dancing as part of the Spice Of Life dance group.  He was also an avid fan of technology.

Beloved husband of 57 years to Veronica Harrelson; loving father of Rose M. Tringali and Charles E. Harrelson; caring brother of Claudia Williams; Cherished grandfather of Chiara Tringali and Charles A. Harrelson – with a great-grandchild on the way. He is also survived by his loving nieces Jaimie and Amber, and many other dear family members and friends.

Interment with honors will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
