Charles S. Edmond

Charles “Pop” S. Edmond, a resident of Odenton, MD, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2017 at his home. He was 76. Pop was born on May 25, 1940 in Pumpkintown, WV and was the son of the late Jack Barkley and Effie Petrice Barkley.
Pop was a great man. His pride and joy was baking, family and the orioles. He spent the last few years living with his youngest child Buddy and his family. Pop always had a smile on his face and will be missed by all.
Pop is survived by his four loving children, Patty Hines (David) of Essex, MD, Robert Edmond (Dana) of Essex, MD, Buddy Edmond (Heather) of Odenton, MD and Debbie Edmond-Guy (Richard) of Baltimore, MD; nine cherished grandchildren, Gene Neddo, Christopher Neddo, Tonie Hines, David Hines, Josh Hines, Noah Carrick, Ashleigh Carrick, Taylor Edmond and Charleigh Edmond. Pop was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Edmond, daughter, Nancy Neddo and sister, Birdie Knight.
The family will receive friends at the Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A., 1411 Annapolis Road, Odenton, MD 21113 on Thursday, May 25, 2017 from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm. A Memorial Service will be held at 12:30 pm.
