Charles Colton Caulk, affectionally known as “Soonie” 76 of Laurel,MD passed away on June 1, 2019

He was born on October 19, 1942 to Francis E. Caulk and Veronica Davis in Philadelphia, PA

Charles was a member of the United States Army and an Honorary Past Grand Master of The Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of the Virgin Islands, F. &A.M., Inc.

He retired from the U.S. Army after 43 years of service as the first African American to achieve the rank of CW5(Chief Warrant Officer) in the Signal Corp.

He was an avid golfer and excellent cook and lover of all electronic gadgets and all Philadelphia sports teams

He is survived by his daughter Casey Camile Gordon, a granddaughter Ruby Lynn Elizabeth Roane, and a grandson Shane Rhoan Gordon

He was preceded in death by both his parents, his sister Francine Marion Caulk and his daughter Lori Rene Roane

Visitation will be held  on Saturday June 15, 2019 from 12:00 Noon until the time of service at 2:00 PM at the Donaldson Funeral Home and Crematory P.A. 1411 Annapolis Road, Odenton MD 21113.
