Carolina "Carolyn" Elenora Mullis

Our angel, Carolyn Elenora “Tuddie” Mullis (nee Davenport) of Gambrills, Maryland went to be with our Lord God in Heaven on Friday, March 9th, 2018. She was 84 years old.

Carolyn was born January 24th, 1934 in Annapolis Junction, Maryland to the late Eva Agnes Hollowell-Davenport and the late Elvin Z. Davenport. On August 2nd, 1952, she married the late Raymond D. Mullis. Together, they raised five children and many friend’s of the children also considered her their own mother.

Affectionately known as “Tuddie”, everything she did was done in love and always thinking of her beloved family. She was member and treasurer of All Saints Episcopal Church in Annapolis Junction, MD. for many years and was also past Worthy Matron of Esther Chapter #47 in Savage, MD.

Carolyn is predeceased by her loving husband, Raymond D. Mullis who passed in 2004 and lost her beloved sister, Novella M. Harman just nine months ago.

Carolyn is survived by her five children and their spouses: Douglas & Janet Mullis, Brenda & Charles Lapin, James & Donna Mullis, Carolyn & Darin Doerk and Gregory & Jennette Mullis. She is also survived by her ten grandchildren and their spouses and five great-grandchildren. In addition, Carolyn is survived by her loving brother, Lewis G. Davenport and nieces and nephews.

An avid reader, Carolyn was never without a book to read. She loved doing word searches and BINGO scratch-offs and most of all, spending time with her loving family. Carolyn will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her.
