Byung Sung Min

Byung Sung Min, a resident of Hanover, MD, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024, in Hanover, MD. He was 86. Byung Sung was born on November 8, 1937 in Incheon, South Korea, and was the son of the late Yunsik Min and Boonsoon Chu.

A handyman at heart, Byung Sung was a practical man; always building furnishings for the benefit of himself and his family. Byung Sung served in the 75th Korean Marine Corps and later found himself and his family immigrating to the United States in December 1989, in pursuit of the American Dream.

Byung Sung is survived by his beloved wife, Jung Ja Min; four loving children, Eunjung Smith, Joon Ki Min, Young Ki Min and Sun Young Min. Further cherished by his grandchildren, Sean Smith, Brendon Min, Grace Min, Claire Smith, and Jayden Jung.

The family will receive friends at the Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. A funeral service will take place at 10:00 am. Interment will follow to Cedar Hill Cemetery, Baltimore, MD.
