Byron Simms

On June 23, 2018, Byron B. Simms of Columbia, Maryland, formerly of College Park, passed away at the age of 78.  Devoted father of B. Christopher Simms and Aimee Reinert; beloved partner of Patty Spurlin and her son Keith O’Brien; loving brother of Penny Adams and the late Marilyn Simms; cherished grandfather of John and Abbigail Reinert.  Born in New Jersey, Byron proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Navy.  After graduating with a degree in engineering, Byron started his own company Triton Engineering.  He was known for his generosity and enjoyed taking his friends and family out to dinner.  A graveside service will take place at Egg Harbor City Cemetery in New Jersey at a later date.
