Bonnie G. (Wooten) Lowry

Bonnie G. Lowry of Gambrills, MD, passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2015 at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, MD, at the age of 72.  Bonnie was born on March 28, 1942 in Tampa, FL to the late Kenneth G. Wooten and Mary Ellen (Peters) Wooten.

Bonnie was the most giving & loving Christian. She lived her life with abundant energy & dedication to make a difference to everyone she crossed paths with.  She spent her time making others happy as a teacher, wife, mother, sister & friend.  She loved her husband, kids & family, dog-Benji & crafts. She always smiled & was a fighter to the end.

Bonnie is survived by her husband of 52 years, Allen W. Lowry; three daughters, Kimberly Woodward and her husband, Stephen of Wilmington, DE, Belinda Connolley and her husband, John of Gambrills, MD and Lori Hoy of Jacksonville, FL; nine grandchildren, Chelsea, Jordan, Dylan, Tabitha, Caitlyn, Jenna, Cayla, Nick and Evy;  great-grandson, Daniel and her sister, Karen Hattaway of Palmetto, FL.

The family will receive friends at Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1411 Annapolis Road, Odenton, MD 21113 on Monday, February 16, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.  A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at 11:00 a.m.  A committal service will be held at Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville, MD at 1:00 p.m.
