Bhushan Kumar Dilawari

Bhushan Kumar Dilawari passed away on Friday, December 26, 2014 at his residence in Silver Spring, Maryland at the age of 65. Bhushan was born on May 25, 1949 in New Delhi, India to the late Harnam and Basant Dilawari.
He is survived by his wife, Sushma, of 29 years and daughter, Komal Raani Dilawari, age 24, who teaches and resides in the Baltimore, Maryland area. He is also survived by brothers, Prem, Gian, Ashok, and sister, Mohini Wadehra.
Bhushan moved to the states from New Delhi in 1969 for better opportunities for himself. Later he met his wife, Sushma, and got married in 1985. He owned Dean Insurance Agency for many years in the Washington DC Metro area. Bhushan truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with friends and family, snacking, and spending time with his nephews and nieces. Bhushan had an exceptional ability to reach out to people in a deep and positive way. He will be deeply missed as he leaves behind many eternities of friendships and family who will miss him dearly. He was a person who would not say ‘No’ and would seek ways to fulfill all desires for everyone around him. He truly was a gem and will always be in our hearts.
