Bernice Irene Houston

Bernice Irene Houston, 89, of Odenton, Maryland, passed away peacefully in Hospice care on January 9, 2026.

Born on January 12, 1936, in Massena, NY. Bernice was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She spent much of her younger days bowling at the Ft. Meade Bowling Alley, enjoyed playing Bunco, and cards with friends, and found joy in crocheting and knitting.

Bernice loved to camp, travel, having coffee and social time with friends, shopping on QVC, dancing to country and western music and watching the Hallmark Channel.

Bernice was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Owen Houston, Jr. She is survived by her children, Ronald Houston, James Lawrence Houston Sr and Robin Ann Jeng as well as her grandchildren, James Lawrence Houston Jr, Jaime Pascucci, Jonathan Houston, Lauren Jeng, and Brian Jeng. Her great grandchildren, Nolan Stratton, Terry Pascucci, Olivia Pascucci and Bruce Pascucci Jr and Ophelia Houston. Her daughter-in-law, Cathy Houston and son-in-law, Paul Jeng, whom we all will miss her deeply.
