Ashwin M. Sheth

Ashwin Mohanlal Sheth, of Harrison, New Jersey, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 10, 2015 at his son’s home in Hanover, Maryland. Ashwin was born March 14, 1936 in Gujarat to Mohanlal and Padma Sheth. He moved to the United States in January 1969, where he was soon joined by his wife Usha and daughter Falguni (Tina). Ashwin received a B.S. from Bombay University in Business Administration and a certification from the American Management Association. He worked in several industries as a business executive, and for a long time, owned and ran a chocolate business in Greenwich Village, NYC, with his wife. He provided well for his children and traveled the world with his wife. Ashwin is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Ragesh and Yaminee, his daughter Falguni ("Tina"), his brothers Ashok and Rohit, and sister Harsha and their families, and his mother, and many wonderful friends and family. Cremation services will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at the Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A., 1411 Annapolis Road, Odenton, Maryland, 21113 at 1:00 pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Ashwin’s name may be made to the Kearny Hindu Temple, in Kearny, NJ (http://www.hindumandirnj.org).
