Arthurson "Art" B. Wiltshire, Colonel, USA (Ret.), a resident of Laurel, MD, passed away on Friday, December 2, 2011 at Laurel Regional Hospital at the age of 80. Art was born on January 31, 1931 in New York City and was the son of the late Oswald and Pomila Wiltshire.

Throughout Art'sdistinguished 29-year career in the United States Army he was awarded numerous accolades and commendations, among them, a Bronze Star, Vietnam Medal of Honor, Meritorious Service Medal and two Purple Hearts. His tours of duty in Germany, Vietnam and Korea ignited an interest in travel that beckoned him to countries and islands all over the world.

Art is survived by his loving wife, June Wiltshire of Laurel, MD; daughter, Kim Jackson of Havre de Grace, MD; stepson, AndrAC. (Faith) SandifordBey of Tampa, FL; sister, Florence (Gary) Consorte of New York; brother, Oswald Wiltshire Jr. of Baltimore, MD; grandchildren, Ricardo, Jazmin and Ashley; and great-grandson, Julian. His brother, Franklin Wiltshire preceded Art in death.

The family will receive friends at the Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory P.A., 1411 Annapolis Road, Odenton, MD, 21113 on Thursday, December 8, 2011 from 4:00 to 7:00pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the Donaldson Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, December 9, 2011 at 11:00am. Interment will take place at Arlington National Cemetery, Old Post Chapel on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at 12:45 pm.
