Arthur Edward Plummer

Arthur Edward Plummer of Severn, MD, passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2013 at his residence at the age of 77. Arthur was born on September 1, 1935 in Wilkes-Barre, PA and was the son of the late Irving Plummer and Margaret nee Miles Plummer.

Arthur was a veteran of the United States Air Force, having served in during the Korean conflict. While convalescing in New York he met his wife of 47 years. After convalescing he worked various jobs before finally retiring from civil service at Fort Meade in 1997. He was an active member of the board of directors of the community recreation association.

Arthur is survived by his five loving children, Arthur Edward Plummer and wife, Tambra, of Linthicum, MD, Irving Mollineaux Plummer and his partner, Larry Herman, of Severn, MD, Robert James Plummer and wife, Kathleen, of Baltimore, MD, Elizabeth Margaret Lins and husband, Richard, of Hillsboro, MD and Cheryl Ann; six devoted grandchildren; one cherished great grandchild. Along with his parents, Arthur is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Mary Plummer.
