Alberta Marie (Schrader) Phelps

Alberta M. Phelps, a resident of Severn, MD, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at her home. She was 89. Alberta was born on November 28, 1928 in Tunkhannock, PA and was the daughter of the late Ray Schrader and Evelyn (nee Minor) Schrader.
Alberta was kind to her friends and community. She was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling throughout the country with her husband and grandson, Corey and his wife Eri. She will be missed by all.
Alberta is survived by her beloved husband of 69 years, William B. Phelps of Severn, MD; loving son, David L. Phelps and wife, Wendy of Severn, MD; devoted brother, Lloyd Schrader; cherished grandson, Corey Mullins; adorable great-grandson, Caden Mullins.
The family will receive friends at the Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A., 1411 Annapolis Road, Odenton, MD 21113 on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 from 3 pm to 5 pm & 7 pm to 9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at 12:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow to MD Veterans Cemetery Crownsville, MD.
