WILHELM, JANET BLANCHE (WRIGHT) - On June 29, 2019, Janet Wilhelm, beloved wife of the late Gary W. Wilhelm, and mother to Pamela (Wilhelm) Hundley, David Wilhelm (Jessica), and Steven Wilhelm (Christina), passed away peacefully at home while under Hospice care. Her will and determination to remain at home throughout her health challenges carried her to the end as well as a love for her family. Not only was she a wonderful mother, wife, grandmother, sister and friend to all that knew her; She had a very big heart and was generous in her support of multiple charities. Although she is physically gone from this world, we know she will be with us always and watching over us. She is also survived by eight wonderful grandchildren; Kelsey Hundley, Douglas Wilhelm, Sean Wilhelm, Addison Wilhelm, Walter Wilhelm, Yazminn Wilhelm, Jordyn Wilhelm, and Alexis Wilhelm.
Janet was born on December 11, 1945 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania and was the daughter of Kirby L. Wright and Rosa B. Wright (Dalton). She is survived by her sisters, Thelma Streicher and Virginia Cobb; and brothers, Kirby Wright and Robert Wright. She was preceded in death by a sister, Alma Chapman.
In honoring her last wishes, Janet will be cremated and laid to rest at Maryland Veterans Cemetery Crownsville alongside her husband.
