To the Phillips family, I am so sorry for your loss. I have so many fond memories of growing up on Autumn Valley Circle. Mr. Phillips was always part of the activities from playing basketball and kickball and block parties. He will be remembered as a wonderful father and neighbor. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I am so sorry for your loss. The loss of a parent is always hard and there is little that can be said to relieve that pain. Please remember that your dad is now in heaven with no pain and rejoicing with our lord and savior. You will again one day get to walk with him, talk with him and live the new memories he has been enjoying while being with our lord. Again, my family and I are very sorry for your loss. God Bless. Chris

My sympathy and prayers to the family and friends of Phil, a most gentle and kind man. When I opened the O'Malley Senior Center in Odenton, Phil freely offered to memorialize the event by taking photos. Through the years, Phil always greeted me with a that wonderful smile and hug. The community will miss his goodness.

How does one sum up so many years of friendship with my good neighbor, Elliott Phillips?  All I can say is he was the best.  A friendly Teddy Bear in a big Grizzly Bear's body.  He was a towering man who had so much inner strength.  He had so much love for his wife Juanita, his children and grandchildren....and almost all the people he came in contact with.  I'll miss his stories about his time in the Army, and his travels.  But most of all, I'll miss his big smile and infectious laugh. God bless you Elliott.
