Dilip B. Patel, 75, left the material world to be with Krishna on Jan 11th, 2020 at Medstar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C.
Dilip Patel, was born in India but resided in Maryland for the past 31 years. He was fourth of the six siblings. He is survived by his wife, Nayana Patel, two daughters (Tejal and Binita), son in laws (Deepak and Brian), and two grand kids (Dev and Dylan).
He was a very religious person who enjoyed visiting temples frequently, participating in Satsangs and praying daily. He was a foodie and had vast pallet for Indian food and snacks. He was a people person, who enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He was a man of many skills and never hesitated to help anyone in need. He was always the first one to provide a helping hand and was someone others can come to for advice often. Even with polio, he did things that many men would not dare to do by themselves. His strong will allowed him to be fully independent and be a free spirited individual.
He was beloved by many. He was very empathetic, loving, caring, social, selfless and independent human being. Throughout his life, he has touched many souls in a positive way including his family and taught positive values to his kids. He will live on in hearts and memories of those that knew him.
Jai Shree Krishna
