Christine Ann (Glenister) Patton

Christine Ann Patton, a resident of Hanover, MD, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at her home. She was 69. Christine was born on June 13, 1947 in Hitchin, England and was the daughter of the late Arthur Glenister and Winifred Gatwood Glenister.

Christine loved life.  She surrounded herself with the love of her family, friends and animals.  She loved to travel.  Visiting New England every summer, or fall, was one of her favorite things to do. She was always on the search for the elusive moose. Once her grandchildren were born, Christine’s life centered on them.  She was always at school functions, football games, and dance recitals.  Everyone who knew Christine, knew how much she loved Cameron and Michaela.

Christine is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, George A. Patton of Hanover, MD; three loving daughters; Daryl Khan of London, England, Andrea Patton-Jones of Columbia, MD and Natalie Patton of Hanover, MD; two cherished grandchildren, Cameron and Michaela Jones of Columbia, MD.

Friends and family are invited to join the family for a Memorial Service to celebrate Christine’s life. The service will be held at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 7607 Sandy Spring Road,  Laurel, MD on Sunday May 7, 2017 at 5:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the World Wildlife Fund (www.worldwildlife.org), or any charity dedicated to caring and protecting animals.
