Champain Sonja Marie Williams affectionately known as “Chimmy”. A longtime resident of Odenton, MD, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 23, 2018. She was 25. Chimmy was born on September 16, 1992 in Baltimore, MD and was the daughter of Caroline Yvonne Callaway and Brian Keith Williams.
Chimmy graduated from Arundel High School in 2010. She had dreams of joining the Navy but put those aspirations aside to embark on a career with Giant Food Stores. Chimmy was an adamant Dallas Cowboy fan who enjoyed fishing and playing pool. Chimmy had an infectious laugh and a big heart and left an impression with anyone who crossed her path. If you knew her, you loved her.As everyone knows Chimmy was a Momma’s girl. Her mother was her best friend, confidant and rock. The bond they had as Mother and daughter was special and unbreakable even in death.
Along with her parents, Chimmy is survived by her three sisters; Brittney and Breonna Williams and Danielle Kirkley. loving uncles, John Michael Callaway and Michael Williams; devoted aunts, Sandy Moore and Michelle Williams; beloved cousin, John Callaway; cherished Godmother, Hope Queen and Loving Godfather, Michael Brady and a host of friends and co-workers. She will be missed by all.
The family will receive friends at the Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A., 1411 Annapolis Road, Odenton, MD 21113 on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm. Interment will be private.
