Anita Karen (Greene) Walton, 66, of Laurel, Maryland, passed away on November 23, 2018, after a brave battle against cancer. Anita was born July 16, 1952, in Yuba City, California, and grew up in the Baltimore-Washington, D.C., area. As a young child, she was diagnosed with a rare blood vessel disease and was not expected to live to adulthood.
In addition to her mother, Mildred (Dickerson) Taylor, Anita is survived by her son, Christopher Walton, and two grandchildren, Cheyanne and Chase Walton, as well as by her sisters, Mary (Sitler) Windsor and M. Jane Taylor, and a brother, Charles Taylor, Jr. She was predeceased by her stepfathers, Edmund Sitler and John Taylor, and her brother, John Sitler, Sr., and also by her partner of many years, Martin Dicken.
Anita enjoyed shopping with her mother and adding to her fairy collection, and she loved spending time with family, most especially her beloved grandchildren.
