My heartfelt condolences to the family. He was such a pleasant and cheerful man. I will truly miss seeing him at the YMCA. I will miss his beautiful smile and sweet soul.

Ranga was my mentor and coach, a model family man, and good friend. He was a philosopher, leader, and friend to the many we saw together at the Y.
His wisdom, humor and contagious laugh will be missed by all.
Deep condolences to the entire Ranganathan family and all who knew him.

If I'm correct I am your Bethesda YMCA swimming pool 25 year buddy.
It was my pleasure to have known the two of you and often talked about our children being born and growing up.
My condolences to the family and hope all your good memories will outlast the sadness you all feel.

Most people walk in and out of one's life but good friends leave foot prints in one's heart. Dear "Ranga", in many ways, has done that ever since I came to know him and his dear wife Kanaga who avidly participated in Sri Lankan religious events. Thus the family's loss is the community's loss too! May His Soul Rest in Peace!

Dearest Family of Aiyadurai Ranganathan,
We join with so many others who knew Ranga in offering our deepest sympathy on his passing.
The measure of a life well-lived is not in how much money one has or what possessions they have accumulated, but rather through the lives they touched and the sorrow they leave behind. If the outpouring of sympathy on his loss is any indication, and it most certainly is, you can proudly and confidently say that his indeed was a life well-lived.
May you find peace and comfort in knowing that his loss is felt by all who knew and loved him.
In Sympathy,
Mr & Mrs Ganeshan, Varathan family & Kavitha family
