William E. Beam

On July 3, 2020, William “Bill” Edgar Beam of Severn passed away at the age of 82.  Born April 15, 1938 in Rockingham, Vermont to the late Ernest and Julie (nee Willis) Beam.  Devoted husband of 61 years to  his “little honey” Sarah L. Beam (nee Cooper); beloved father of Martin Beam (Kathy) of Millersville and Michael (Kerri) Beam of McConnelsville, Ohio; cherished grandfather of Emily Hickerson, Rachel Frinak, Kaitlyn Lindemuth, Amanda Murphy, Sarah A. Beam and Maison Beam; caring great-grandfather of Hayden and Madelyn Hickerson and Lyla Frinak; loving brother of Leroy Beam of Derring, Vermont, Erwin Beam of Johnson, Vermont, Marie Plumley of Guilford, Vermont, and Margaret Shambo of Rutland, Vermont.  He was predeceased by his daughter Donna Reuwer.

Bill proudly served as a member of the U.S. Air Force where he was an airplane mechanic.  He then continued to work as a mechanic for Chevron and later for the Ft. Meade Golf Course.  He enjoyed fishing, crabbing, and spending time with his family.
