Joshua (Josh) M. Gall, 28, of Odenton, MD passed away peacefully on March 27th, 2024, surrounded by his family after a six-month battle with melanoma.
Born February 17, 1996, Josh grew up in Odenton Maryland and graduated from Arundel High School in 2014, then received his bachelor’s degree from Hood College in Frederick, MD in 2018.
Josh was a four-year Varsity baseball player at Arundel and continued his baseball career in college, being the first player to ever commit to Hood College in its inaugural season the Spring of 2015. Some of his accolades included: D3Baseball All-American, D3Baseball First Team All-Mid-Atlantic Region, Commonwealth Conference Rookie of the year and ECAC South Rookie of the year.
After graduating from Hood, Josh served as a Talent Acquisition Specialist in different fields, including the biotech arena when he moved to San Diego California in 2021. His greatest acquisition while in California was his dog Tango which returned home with him to Odenton in 2023 after two adventure filled years on the west coast.
Josh loved the outdoors, traveling, weather, video games, and sports.
Josh always carried a great presence in all that he did. He loved to laugh and make people laugh. His goofiness was unparalleled, and his love of family was paramount in everything he did. He was an amazing son, a loving brother, and a loyal friend to many.
He is survived by his father Jason Gall, (Michelle Gall) of Odenton, mother Trudi Kitchenham (Brian Turchetta) of Gambrills, brother Nickolas Gall of Odenton, Paternal Grandmother Maria Gall of Laurel, step-siblings Danielle, Bella, Corey and Dylan and Nicholas Turchetta of Gambrills, his beloved dog Tango and many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Josh was proceeded in death by his paternal Grandfather Frank R. Gall, Maternal Grandparents Pamela J. Kitchenham and Albert Kitchenham.
