Holly Shannon Groves

Holly Shannon Groves, age 66, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021 at her home.  Born in Cleveland, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Betty Shannon.  She was as well preceded in death by her late husband James Groves.  Holly is survived by her long-time friend and caregiver, Mr. Lewis Weber of Odenton, MD and her siblings, Carolyn Paget of Naples, FL, Patricia Anderson of Nantucket, MA, Edward Shannon of Chesterland, OH, Galen Reuther of Flat Rock, NC, and Chris Shannon of Nantucket, MA.  Holly retired from Community Management Corporation as a Community Manager, and had proudly served the Seven Oaks Community in Odenton, MD for 27 years.  She was adored by family, friends, and colleagues, not to mention, countless residents of the community.  In her spare time, Holly always enjoyed throwing a ball for her Irish Setters, Bubba, Maggie, and Shannon.  Due to COVID restrictions, service at Donaldson Funeral Home will be private for family only on but will be livestreamed at the link below starting at 12:30 p.m on Friday January 15th.  Flowers for the service can be delivered to 1411 Annapolis Rd., Odenton, MD 21113, and donations may be made in honor of Holly S. Groves to: Hospice of the Chesapeake, 90 Ritchie Highway,  Pasadena, MD 21122.
