Hepisy Scott Mitchell

On July 21, 2021, Hepisy Scott Mitchell, 75, of Odenton, Md., entered into eternal rest. She was the beloved wife of Col. Walter J. Mitchell, Jr., U.S. Army (Ret.), devoted mother of Walter J. Mitchell, III and George L. Mitchell and his wife Ellinor, loving sister of Sarah Shelton and her husband James,  Gwenevere Dockett and her husband Julius, Brenda Kirby and her husband Donald and Fredrick S. Scott and his wife Karen. Also survived by two grandchildren, Ellison and Lucienne

Hepisy was born in Martinsville, Va. on June 27, 1946  of the late Frederick and Dorothy Geter Scott, Jr.

She was retired from Anne Arundel County Public Schools and was a former member of First Baptist Church,  East Martinsville, Va.

The family will receive friends at the Donaldson Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel, 1411 Annapolis Rd., Odenton, Md. 21113 on Friday, August 06, 2021 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM.

Funeral services at 10:00 AM with interment, Maryland Veterans' Cemetery, Crownsville immediately following.
