Donald Howard Frank

Donald Howard Frank of Severn, MD, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at his home. He was 66. Donald was born on November 29, 1957, in Baltimore, MD, and was the son of the late Kenneth W. Frank, Jr. and Carolyn D. Frank (nee McLane).

 Donald was a quiet, gentle man with a big sense of humor. He loved being home with his family and dogs.  Early every morning you could find him at Starbucks meeting up with his “coffee crew.”  When he was not working, Don was likely sitting with his dogs in the yard or tinkering in the garage. His passion was photography, which led him to a 28-year career of being a private detective. He opened AAA Surveillance, Inc. and built a successful business until his retirement in August 2023.   

Donald is survived by his beloved wife, Brenda Frank; loving daughter, Emily Frank, 3 devoted stepchildren, Alyssa Shields (Matthew), Daniel Gronewold (Shannon), and Michael Gronewold (Casey); cherished granddaughter, Kyleigh Frank; caring brother, Wesley Frank (Karen) and many other family members.  Donald will be missed by all who knew him.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at the Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A., on Friday, March 15, 2024, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A Memorial Service will begin at 11:00 am. Interment will be private.
