Carl Eugene Fuehrer, a resident of Gambrills, MD, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 06, 2021 at the Rebecca Fortney Inpatient Hospice in Pasadena, MD. He was 83. Born on January 15, 1938 in Hazelton, Pennsylvania, he was raised in a house of love as the only child of Carl and Catherine Fuehrer. He came from a family of strong faith in a home which was rooted in the love of Christ. He married his high school sweetheart and love of his life, Nancy in 1958. He fell in love with her on the first day that they met at the age of 15 and from there, their love grew stronger & stronger each day of his life. Married 63 years, together they had the pleasure of fulfilling many of their dreams. They traveled to other counties, went skiing in Austria and toured almost everywhere in North America in their RV. They sailed the Atlantic, Pacific & Caribbean oceans. Carl played golf every chance he had and in his younger years flew single engine airplanes. He was the author of a book that was published titled. "Rookie RVersto Masters of the Road."
Carl was a US Coast Guard Veteran and retired after 35 years working for the Federal Trade Commission. He was also a proud member of the Masons for 60 years.
Carl is survived by his beloved wife, Nancy Fuehrer; two loving daughters, Kathy Brennan (Kevin) and Darlene Akers (Steve); four cherished grandchildren, Amanda and Colin Brennan and Madison and Bryce Akers. He set many examples of love, faith and friendship. He will be forever missed by all.
