Thomas John Wenz

Thomas J. Wenz, 75 years old of Long Island passed away on October 15, 2018.

He was born in 1942 to John and Anna Wenz in Brooklyn, NY.

He retired from Entenmann’s Bakery with 34 years of service. He enjoyed reading books, listening to music, watching any kind of racing on tv, playing video games, taking walks around the neighborhood, riding his bicycle, spending time with his friends and family. He had the heart of a kid stuck in a 75 year old body.

He is survived by his daughter; Nicole S. Wenz and her husband Rick Minckler and his son Stephen T. Wenz; loving grandfather of Garrett, Alexandra, Noah and Ethan; dear brother of John J. Wenz and William B. Wenz. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the Donaldson Funeral & Crematory, P.A. 1411 Annapolis Road Odenton, Maryland 21113 on Friday, October 19th from 5 until 8 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Joseph Catholic Church 1283 Odenton Rd, Odenton, MD 21113 on Saturday, October 20th at 11 am. There will be a Memorial Mass at St Margaret’s Roman Catholic Church 6605 79th Pl, Middle Village, NY 11379 on Saturday, November 10th at 9:45 am with inurnment immediately following at St John’s Cemetery. Please join us for a reception immediately following. Memorial donations can be given as the Holy Spirit moves you.
