On April 8, 2018, Thomas K. Barrett of Ellicott City, formerly of Catonsville, passed away. He is survived by his wife Therese L. Barrett of Odenton; his father Thomas Barrett (Joan) and mother Harriet Barrett, his daughter Laura T. Hepler (Matthew); his dear friend Mary Jean Janik; his siblings James Barrett (Samantha), Barbara Barrett (Rebecca), William Barrett, Maureen McConnell (Elton), Diane Touart; and his grandsons Luke and Maximilian Hepler. He was predeceased by his sister Kathleen A. Barrett. He is also survived by many loving family members and dear friends.
Born in Indiana, Tom lived in Ellicott City since 2014 and in Catonsville previous to that. He was a Professor of Computer Aid Design (CAD) at the Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) for 30 years. He enjoyed long distance driving and once drove from Maine to Key West. He enjoyed traveling, listening to the oldies, reminiscing with family and friends, and watching TV.
