Roberta “Gina” Brown, age 53, passed away suddenly on Saturday, January 4th, 2020, at her home in Annapolis, MD.
Born in Seoul, Korea on January 17th, 1966, but raised in Colorado Springs, Colorad; Gina graduated from Widefield High school in 1984. Her professional career spans several decades of service within the airline industry, culminating with her role as a Senior Supervisor within reservations and customer service departments of America West and Northwest Airlines. Her commitment to those in her charge and the responsibilities of her position led to her an eventual relocation to Baltimore, Maryland.
Gina possessed a vibrant spirit that overflowed with love and kindness for all she met. A committed follower of Christ and a devout believer in Jesus, you could always count on Gina to be straight spoken and direct. But in a way that you undoubtedly knew was from the heart, considerate, with the most genuine of intentions and rooted in her love of our Lord.
If asked, Gina would say her greatest achievement was being a mother. She was blessed with three wonderful children who because of this, are all well on their way to becoming amazing people in their own right.
Gina is preceded in death by her father Mr. Harry E. Felty and Grandmother, Kim Sun Tu. Those remaining to honor her legacy and cherish her memory are her daughter, Alysia Torres; son, CJ Chandler; and young daughter, Joyelle Cox. Her mother, Mi cha “Judy” Felty, mom; brother, David Felty, sister, Midge Noble; and sister, Mary Ross. Also sharing in her memory are two cousins, four nephews, three nieces, and one grand nephew.
