Radhika A. Joglekar

Radhika A. Joglekar of Clarksville, MD, passed away on Friday, August 19, 2016 at Howard County General Hospital in Columbia, MD, at the age of 46.  Radhika was born on March 17, 1970 in Bombay, India to Anjana (Jhaveri) Joglekar and the late Anil Joglekar.

Radhika studied at the University of Maryland and Virginia Commonwealth University and achieved her Masters degree in Social Work. After the birth of her daughter in 2001, she returned to the local area to raise her with Radhika’s mother. Radhika began to work as a Clinical Psychotherapist and took up private practice in the local area as she sought to help those with troubled lives find a path forward - including those that had experienced very tragic events as captured by national media. Radhika was a proud parent of all that her daughter achieved, loved to travel to the beach and all places warm,  and shared the same love with her father as an avid fan of her beloved Washington Redskins and Baltimore Orioles.

In addition to her mother Radhika is survived by her daughter, Tara Tremper of Clarksville, MD and her two brothers, Samir Joglekar of Atlanta, GA and Rajiv Shah of Highland, MD.

A Celebration of Radhika’s Life will be held at Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A., 1411 Annapolis Road, Odenton, MD 21113 on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.  In Hindu tradition a cremation ritual will follow at 12:30 p.m.
